What is the largest rebar diameter a cutting machine can cut?

Quick answer: our GQ70A cuts up to 70 mm A3 round steel, with a shearing force under 160 t. For ribbed rebar the ceiling is lower: 55 mm (Grade II), 50 mm (Grade III) and 45 mm (Grade IV) — the harder the steel, the lower the safe cutting diameter.

Capacity by machine: the GQ50A handles 6–50 mm and suits everyday site cutting; the GQ70A handles the 50–70 mm range and is the machine for heavy structural work. Both are 380 V / 50 Hz with 5.5 kW and 11 kW motors respectively.

What to check: cutting capacity is quoted for A3 mild steel by convention. If your drawings call for Grade III or IV rebar, derate the number and tell us the grade so we confirm the right machine. The blade stroke also matters — 70 mm on the GQ70A versus 40 mm on the GQ50A.
