What is a plane rebar bending center used for?

Quick answer: a plane rebar bending center bends flat reinforcement in one horizontal plane, automatically, at high speed — our GDPMW-60 bends 0–180° at 72°/s and moves the bending head at 0.6 m/s for a capacity of about 50 tonnes per day.

What it does: the machine lays out and bends full-length bars into floor slabs, beams and wall reinforcement automatically from a program, eliminating the manual layout and marking work that dominates traditional slab steelwork. It follows the GB/T 232-2010 bending standard.

When it pays off: for high-volume slab and wall production it is dramatically faster than manual bending; for occasional small jobs it is overkill. Total power is 22 kW and the frame is about 13.5 m long, so plan the space.
